Lead BA in GFDR is expected to collaborate with onsite Technology team, End business users, technical teams, and project managers to ensure business requirements are completely understood and Translated into functional requirement for the delivery team.
The candidate will need to take ownership of understanding the business process, end to end project requirement and data attributes of all system ( upstream & downstream) involved in the solution.
Prior experience of implementing large warehouse projects on Eagle and knowledge of fund accounting principles is a must.
In addition, the person must be fully conversant with tools for requirement documentation like Visio, Confluence, Use case based methodology documentation etc
q Interact with onsite Technology team, end business users, development team to ensure business requirements are fully understood.
q Translate business requirements into functional requirements with responsibility to act as SPOC for any query related to requirement for the development or testing team
q Define functional & non functional requirement for the project which is clearly understood by the development team.
q Understanding of how GFDR platforms can deliver the project requirements.
q Understanding of feeds to the system (upstream & downstream ), data owners , Functional relevance of each fund attributes that are stored on the platform.
q Participate in defining project System design specification ( Author, Review & Sign off)
q Liaise with stakeholders, system owners or 3rd party for data provision for system testing
q Provide guidance on data quality and liaison with stakeholders for data completeness
q Maintain System data dictionary
q Develop Acceptance criterion for developed code and review test cases including unit test cases and test strategy.
q Work closely with team to develop proposal for new initiatives
q Work closely with developers to ensure functional requirement is built into the system as per customer expectation.
q Provide pre-implementation and post-implementation support to the application
q Mentor development team on functional requirement
7 + years of relevant business/system analysis experience in financial services firm, have performed similar role in prior experience.
q Graduation in Commerce/Economics or MBA (Finance) preferred.
q Experience of working with 3rd party financial products Eagle
q Understanding of various components of Eagle product Uploader, exporter, Panel, OLAP reports etc
q Experience of documenting requirements and functional system design using ER Modelling, Visio, Confluence etc.
q Basic pl/sql knowledge with understanding of oracle procedures
q Understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts
q Understand best practices Agile, SDLC
q Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
