Seeking to recruit an experienced business development manager having extensive experience in software product/solution selling in the US market. This position will be responsible for developing new business and maintaining existing account portfolio throughout assigned regions.
- Responsible for iLogistics product and allied software services sales to upstream oil and gas companies and logistics service providers.
- Define annual sales and marketing objectives & ensure achievement of defined sales targets, margin targets and expansion of market share.
- Prospect & qualify potential leads or partners, develop business relationships with qualified leads or partners and close these relationships by coordinating requirements, negotiating contracts and integrating with delivery and business operations teams.
- Implements sales activities as per sales plan for lead generation and locating potential clients.
- Identification of business opportunities for company growth via partnerships – sales partners, software integrators, non-traditional clients etc.
- Responsible for account management and must coordinate all existing client communications, conflict resolution etc.
- Grow and retain existing accounts by additional license/services sales in affiliated operating units or by presenting new software service solutions.
- Nurture and maintain relationships with CXO level leaders within customer organizations.
- Provide industry insights and customer feedback for on-going product development efforts and support innovation within the product group to enable iLogistics to be a market standard in upstream logistics software business
- Update industry knowledge by participating in industry conferences, reading professional publications, participating in professional organizations, maintaining personal networks and taking industry/job relevant educational certifications
- Report directly to the Director and Head of Oil & Gas Line of Business (LoB).
