Job Title: Service Virtualization Manager

Location: Nottingham, UK - Open to process UK work permit if candidate is in India or also open to local candidates

Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead the virtualization service development team across development and troubleshooting activities
• Assist in system /Service landscape assessment and identify potential candidates for virtualization
• Work with the project to understand the virtualization opportunities and capture requirements in their project
• Provide input to design of future enhancements and evolution of clients platform
• Provide High Level Requirements of the service to be virtualized into the SV Development  Team
• Participate in virtualization development and provide technical guidance to the SV development team
• Ensure that development best practices are followed and adheres to performance, supportability and availability goals
• Conduct formal design and code reviews and provide reporting to internal teams

Skills & Qualification:

• Strong technical leadership skills
• Senior technical resource, who has developed, set up complex high available, highly transactional service virtualization environment set up.
• Strong communication skills with experience in interacting with business and techno functional teams.
• Thorough understanding of scalability and performance requirements
• Be able to implement virtualization environment for pre prod environments
• Enhance virtual services with data and performance modeling
• Define the competitive atmosphere surrounding virtual services
• Strong system integration experience
• Solid Quality Assurance experience including strategy planning, reporting and metrics analysis
• Proven experience in multiple environments with designing / programming skills with strong Object Orientated skills
• Exposure to all stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and SQA processes.
• Ideal candidate would be one who has service virtualization implementation experience using HP Service Virtualization 3.6
• Responsible for the currency of the Service Virtualisation software
• Virtualization implementation experience using CA Lisa is also good.
• Implementation of service virtualization with applications like SAP, WSC
• Excellent understanding of product release methodologies (including familiarity with ITIL's Release and Deployment Management process)
• In Depth experience in SOA (Service Oriented Architecture and Web Services)
• Very Good in modeling of services and enhancing using SDKs
• Good knowledge on different transport & Data protocols like SOAP, WSDL, JSPs, JDBC, SQL, JNDI, XML, MQ, TIBCO, SAP iDOCS etc.
• Involved in direct development of Virtual Services as well as the institutionalizing of any commercial tool as the Service Virtualization platform
• Knowledge on Performance Testing of services
• Good exposure and knowledge in V-model, Waterfall model, RUP, Agile development life cycle
• Excellent problem solving skills with a strong technical background and good interpersonal skills and strong communicational skills.
