Job Description

Lead technical interface with Commercial Operations, Marketing, Sales, Requisition Engineering, and Project Management for the Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) life cycle on Wind Turbine proposals.
Lead Application Engineers in performing Mechanical Loads Analysis, approve bid schedules, and track proposals to completion.
Devise micro-siting layout optimization to maximize power production by employing different load mitigation strategies and enabling turbine suitability for site conditions

Essential Responsibilities

Serve Sales & Commercial Operation teams from Engineering standpoint for Wind Turbine Micro-siting and Wind Farm risk assessment by leveraging Turbine Loads, Controls and operability expertise
Work with the Wind Resource Assessment Engineers to leverage the site wind conditions and leverage them to provide turbine suitability solution
Develop thorough understanding of the component capabilities by working with component designers and execution expertise in component analysis methodologies.
Develop holistic understanding of the Wind turbine products offered and help with the due diligence effort for the customer requirements
Work with tool development engineers and third parties to automate and simplify MLA tools and processes to help define strategies for faster MLA
